The OnePlus 12, which has been the subject of two sets of leaked renders, was initially rumored to be officially unveiled as early as the end of this year. However, both of these speculations could still materialize if the high-end Android device debuts in China in December 2023 and becomes available in the global market in January 2024.
Unlike previous years, OnePlus seems to be deviating from its tradition of launching a T-branded variant for its early 2023 flagship Android smartphone. Instead, the company’s main focus appears to be on its upcoming high-end smartphone, alongside efforts to develop a new tablet, wireless earbuds, and a successor to the India-exclusive 11R mobile device, known as the Ace 2 in China.
As for the OnePlus 12R, it has been the subject of numerous revealing leaks and was previously expected to be launched in February 2024, following the release pattern of the 11R in February 2023. Given their similarities, it would make sense for OnePlus to announce both the OnePlus 12 and 12R simultaneously, although it remains uncertain if that will indeed be the case.
Moving on to the third product expected to be unveiled in January 2024, we have the OnePlus Pad Go, a budget-friendly device that remains shrouded in mystery. The only known details are its name and the fact that it aims to provide extreme affordability compared to the already reasonably priced OnePlus Pad. Unfortunately, information is scarce when it comes to the next-generation OnePlus earbuds as well.
These products are currently a complete mystery, and until today, there was no indication that OnePlus had plans to introduce yet another competitor to AirPods, possibly at a very competitive price, within the next few months.
