Samsung is on the verge of unveiling a new budget-friendly tablet very soon. The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, first introduced in 2020 and updated in 2022, is set for another release, maintaining its original design while sporting improved hardware. One of the highlights of this upcoming release is a new Mint colour option, as showcased in recently leaked images.
The 2024 iteration of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will be offered in three colours: Chiffon Pink, Mint, and Oxford Gray. The Mint colour is a fresh addition to the lineup, with Chiffon Pink and Oxford Gray having been optioned for the 2022 model. The tablet’s external design remains consistent with the previous version.
This next version of Samsung’s accessible tablet features a 10.4-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels, and comes with an S Pen included. According to earlier information, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) will be powered by an Exynos 1280 chipset, accompanied by 4GB of RAM and available in either 64GB or 128GB storage configurations, expandable via microSD card. The device will ship with the latest Android 14-based One UI 6.1.
For photography, the tablet is equipped with a 5MP front-facing camera and an 8MP rear camera. The battery capacity is set at 7,000mAh, the same as its predecessor, but now features 15W fast charging support. Buyers will have the choice between 5G and Wi-Fi-only models, along with other connectivity features such as GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Pricing for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) is rumoured to start at €429 for the Wi-Fi-only version with 64GB of storage, reaching up to €519 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model with 128GB of storage.
