This September, the Solana Build Station, a prominent hackathon that has already made waves in Berlin and London, is set to arrive in Belgrade. Organized by Superteam Balkans, a regional branch of the global community Superteam—dedicated to bringing together the top talents in the Solana ecosystem—the event promises to be a significant gathering for developers, engineers, and creators focused on web3 innovations.
The hackathon will take place from September 2 to 15 at the Startit Center Belgrade. It will bring together up to 50 participants who are eager to develop projects using Solana’s blockchain technology. These projects will explore various applications within the web3 world, showcasing the potential of decentralized solutions.
A key highlight for participants of the Belgrade Solana Build Station is the opportunity to automatically enter their projects into Radar, one of the largest Solana hackathons globally. Radar, organized by Colosseum in collaboration with the Solana Foundation, is a major event in the crypto space. Previous editions of this global hackathon have featured a prize fund of $50,000, with the amount for this year’s event expected to be announced soon.
In addition to competing on the global stage, participants in the Belgrade hackathon will also vie for a local prize fund of at least $1,000. This incentive adds extra motivation for teams to innovate and push the boundaries of what’s possible with Solana’s blockchain.
