Pristina, Kosovo – The Innovation Centre Kosovo (ICK), in collaboration with prestigious American organizations such as the Special Competitive Studies Project (SCSP), Plug and Play, and the USAID Kosovo Compete Program, is bringing the inaugural edition of the “AI Startup” regional camp for artificial intelligence to Pristina, from May 27 to May 31.
A Gathering of Global AI Experts and Industry Leaders
Top global experts in Artificial Intelligence and industry leaders will join over 30 innovative businesses from across the Western Balkans at this first-of-its-kind regional AI camp. The event, hosted at the Innovation Centre Kosovo in late May, will feature a series of professional workshops aimed at companies looking to enhance their growth and investment in AI applications and development. Key areas of focus will include implementing AI in internal processes, data security, intellectual property rights, collaboration among tech companies in the Western Balkans, and access to a large pool of investors, including the global giant Plug and Play.
Comprehensive Workshops and Open Community Events
Over the course of five days, the camp will offer intensive professional workshops designed to help companies accelerate their AI strategies. These sessions will cover a range of topics from data security and intellectual property to fostering collaborations between tech companies and engaging with investors.
In addition to closed sessions, ICK and its partners are organizing open events for the community, set to take place during the week of May 27.

- Sophia Zhu, a former manager at Unilever, now Strategy and Innovation Consultant at Plug and Play
- Despoina Dimitrakopoulou, an expert in intellectual property (IP) for corporations
