The Civic Resource Center has announced an upcoming online debate, titled “Digital Transformation of Civil Organizations,” scheduled for October 21, 2024, starting at 12:00 PM via the ZOOM platform. This event, organized as part of the EU support for Civic Resource Center – phase 2 project, will gather experts, civil society leaders, and innovators to discuss how digital tools and innovations can significantly improve the efficiency, transparency, and impact of civil society organizations.
Event Purpose and Focus
The debate aims to spark a dialogue on the growing importance of digitization in civil society and showcase how organizations can leverage digital tools to enhance their operations. Participants will have the chance to learn from successful examples of digital transformation, with a particular focus on social innovations that have increased the impact of organizations in Macedonia. The discussion will cover essential topics such as the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in promoting citizen participation and policy-making, as well as IT solutions that boost the sustainability of civil organizations.

The debate is part of the “EU Support for Civic Resource Center – Phase 2” project, which is co-financed by the European Union and implemented by the National Foundation for the Development of Civil Society (Civic Resource Center) in collaboration with the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation, the Association for Democratic Initiatives (ADI) in Gostivar, and Media Plus in Shtip.
