Two “alien” entities, which were showcased to Mexico’s congress by a self-proclaimed ufologist, underwent testing by doctors. These small, approximately 60 cm in length, skeletons created a peculiar interruption in proceedings when presented by Jaime Maussan in large wooden caskets. Maussan asserts that the bodies were discovered in Peru and are “non-human beings that are not part of our terrestrial evolution.”
Doctors conducted X-rays and CT scans of the bodies at a laboratory in Mexico City. José de Jesús Zalce Benitez, the director of the Health Sciences Research Institute of the Secretary of the Navy, which conducted the tests, stated that the results showed no evidence of assembly or manipulation in the bodies. This contradicted earlier suggestions that the bodies might have been constructed using animal or human bones.

Video footage of the testing process displays one of the bodies with distinct features such as an elongated head, slanted eyes, and a small upturned nose. While these characteristics resemble fictional portrayals of aliens, scientists have not confirmed that these bodies are extraterrestrial in origin.
One theory proposed by academics and archaeologists is that the remains might be mummified human bodies. The Peruvian government has expressed that they view them as pre-Hispanic artifacts, and they have initiated a criminal investigation into how these bodies were removed from the country.
Jaime Maussan, aged 70, has maintained his innocence and asserted that he has not engaged in any illegal activities. However, he could not provide an explanation for how he came into possession of the corpses. He also has a history of promoting discredited narratives related to aliens. In 2017, he featured in a TV documentary about other remains discovered near the Nazca Lines in Peru, which experts have criticized for appearing to involve manipulated mummies.
Regarding his recent findings, Maussan stated that he would disclose more information “at an appropriate time.” Dan Evans, an assistant deputy associate administrator for research at NASA, emphasized the importance of adopting a scientific and rational approach, steering away from speculation and conspiracy theories, and focusing on rigorous data analysis. Recently NASA released a report saying they have no conclusive evidence of UFOs.
