The highly anticipated SPLET Tech conference is returning to Belgrade on October 8, at the iconic MTS Hall. This year, the event brings an exciting new feature: the Venture Capital Zone (VC Zone), where startups will have the unique opportunity to pitch their ideas to investment funds and secure crucial funding.
The Venture Capital Zone will be a key highlight of this year’s SPLET Tech conference, which is being organized for the third consecutive year by the “Download the Idea” project, on the nine-year stage of MTS Hall. The event is a collaborative effort between “Digital Serbia” and “Serbia Innova”, implemented by ICT HUB in cooperation with the American Agency for International Development (USAID). The conference has also received support from the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation.
This year, more than ten VC funds focused on pre-seed, seed, and series A phases are expected to attend. These funds will engage in speed meetings with selected startups, providing them with a unique chance to secure investment. Applications for startups are open until September 10, and interested parties can apply for a chance to present their ideas via the provided link. Selected startups will have the opportunity to meet directly with VC fund representatives, and all necessary information will be provided to them by October 2.
Open Applications for Other Participants
In addition to the VC Zone, applications are also open for those who wish to explore and learn about innovative technologies at SPLET Tech 2024. Visitors will have the chance to dive into the latest trends in web3 technologies, artificial intelligence, biotech, and business development. The conference will cover strategies for business brewing, international market expansion, and exit strategies.
