Zagreb, October 16, 2024 – Telemach Croatia continues its ambitious expansion of optical and 5G networks, offering high-speed internet access to an additional 600,000 households across the country. With more than 220,000 users already benefiting from fast fiber-optic internet, Telemach aims to extend this service to a total of 800,000 homes, providing a stable connection and superior customer experience.
Following the rapid construction of its advanced optical network with gigabit speeds in 12 cities, Telemach is now expanding broadband access through 5G home internet technology. This next-generation service is available for suburban and rural areas, where traditional infrastructure cannot meet the growing demand for faster and more reliable internet.
“We continue to introduce our 10 Giga network in other neighborhoods of already covered cities, and we are expanding to smaller towns as well. Telemach’s 5G home internet service is based on its high-performance 5G network and features WiFi 6 devices that ensure a stable wireless signal. The service also offers an interactive TV experience via EON TV, Southeast Europe’s leading TV platform, with more than 200 TV and radio channels and over 130 HD channels.
For customers in areas where optical networks are not yet available, Telemach offers two types of 5G home internet devices: a more advanced unit with an external antenna and modem, and a simpler indoor-only device. Users can choose from several service packages, including those with EON TV.
