The Galaxy Book 4 series, Samsung’s latest PC lineup, is now open for pre-orders in certain areas. This series features the latest AI-driven processors from Intel, designed to deliver a more efficient and smooth computing experience through advanced machine learning capabilities.
The integration of Intel’s new Core Ultra chips into the Galaxy Book series enhances the performance significantly, making these devices a strong contender in the Windows laptop market. Announced at the end of last year and initially launched in Korea, Samsung is now expanding the availability of the Galaxy Book 4 series to a global audience, with sales starting on February 26. Pre-order opportunities are already popping up in various regions, including Canada, with indications that other markets like the US might soon follow.
The Galaxy Book 4 series includes three models: the Galaxy Book 4 Pro, Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360, and the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra, with the Ultra variant featuring an RTX 2070 GPU, marking it as the premium option in the lineup. All models boast a touch screen with a 2880 x 1800 resolution 120Hz AMOLED display, alongside a comprehensive array of ports including Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-A, and HDMI 2.1, plus a Micro SD card slot for additional storage.
Samsung has designed these laptops with its Galaxy ecosystem in mind, offering features that will particularly appeal to users of Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Exclusive functionalities like the Second Screen, which turns a tablet into an additional monitor, and Multi Control, facilitating seamless file transfers between devices, enrich the user experience for Galaxy owners. However, these benefits are exclusive to the Galaxy ecosystem, which might limit the appeal for users outside of Samsung’s device network.
Ahead of its full launch on February 26, Samsung has initiated pre-orders for the Galaxy Book 4 series, with the base model priced at 1,099 CAD. The more advanced Pro and Ultra models are listed at 2,399 CAD and 2,999 CAD, respectively, on the Canadian Samsung website, with the understanding that prices may vary in different markets. Additionally, Samsung is offering a trade-in promotion to make these new devices more accessible to interested buyers.
